Dr. Oliva was informative and made me feel very confident in putting my surgery (6 hrs. long) in his hands! He has kept a wonderful eye on me after the surgery and answered all my questions on healing and when it was safe to do certain activities like the gym again. If I was to rate every aspect of the experience I would give him a 10! He is amazing and so is his staff. Loved them!

Dr. Oliva is a very intelligent and talented doctor. He is very honest and doesn't sugar coat things which is a quality that I greatly admire. He made my breasts look better than I could have ever imagined and I will be using him in the future when I decide it's time for an upgrade. Cosmetic surgery is a big deal and I wouldn't go to anyone but the best. You get what you pay for and Dr. Oliva is worth it!

He had great demeanor; he made you feel like you were in great hands. He answered all my questions and concerns. His voice is calm and comforting and made you feel at ease when nervous.

Dr. Oliva is extremely thorough in describing your options and really wanting to know what YOU want. I didn't want huge boobs that would turn heads just to look normal. I really felt like he heard me and did a wonderful job getting them just how I wanted them. The office staff and nurses have all been wonderful. Overall a very good experience. I met with Dr. Oliva several times before my procedure. He is very knowledgeable and explained the process very well. He answered all my questions and made me feel very comfortable. My mom had breast cancer and so I wanted my implants to be under the muscle to make mammograms more accurate. Dr. Oliva listened to my concerns and placed my implants under the muscle. He did a fantastic job and I love the results! My mom had gone to him for reconstruction after her mastectomy and felt very comfortable and at ease having him perform my surgery. I would recommend him to anyone; he does such a nice job!

My initial impression of Dr. Oliva was that he was calm, elegant, knowledgeable, and respectful of me and my concerns. As an ex-RN, I entered Dr. Oliva's office with 2 pages (lined paper) of questions I had for him. He patiently answered each question, ending with a statement, "Those are good questions." He has always welcomed my questions, and has been thorough in his answers. He has given me a lot of time and attention . . . never seeming pressed for time or annoyed. He is a master of his trade; a scientist, an artist. He is the doctor's doctor. My gynecologist and GP thought his work on me was exceptional, and both seemed to reinforce that he was essentially a genius at his profession. My new breasts look MUCH better now, than before my mastectomy, all thanks to Dr. Oliva. I will be forever grateful to him for the gift he has given me. I no longer have to live in fear of breast cancer. P.S.: My mother is now 83 years old. Her physician who told her to 'get her things in order' is dead. Sometimes God has a different plan! If you can't tell, as of yet, I would most highly recommend Dr. Alfonso Oliva. He is THE plastic surgeon to perform breast reconstruction in Spokane, WA.

From my first interaction, Dr. Oliva did not waste time, he explained everything to me and made sure I understood the outcomes of the procedure and even welcomed me to seek other opinions. From that very first meeting I knew I wanted Dr. Oliva to perform my procedure. I knew I could trust him. He is amazing beyond excellent. I could not be any happier with the outcomes and I love my new breasts. After almost 8 lbs. of reduction, I can finally stand taller. I do not suffer from pain anymore. He performed the surgery so well, beyond my expectations, because he is skillful, knowledgeable, and just plain one of the most experienced plastic surgeons that I have ever met. Before deciding to go through with the breast reduction I met with at least 4 other plastic surgeons, but Dr. Oliva's honesty and open discussion left no room for me to question his abilities. I am very happy with the outcome of my breast augmentation. Dr. Oliva is an excellent surgeon. My biggest concern going into the consult was wanting a very natural look. Dr. Oliva assured me that he was on the same page as me. I was impressed many times throughout this process by his honesty and bedside manner. During the consult he went over in detail how he would create the best look for me. The entire staff I interacted with were wonderful and professional. Surgery day was smooth. Now I'm 4 months post-op and I am so grateful I found Dr. Oliva and his team to do this procedure. I am now a 36D and have received many compliments from friends on how natural they look on my body.

My follow-up care continues and he wasn't joking when he said we would be seeing a lot of each other. I've had many follow-up appointments to make sure I am healing well and next up a few minor touches to my breasts to complete them. I loved avoiding seeing myself without breasts and doing everything in one operation. It helped put cancer behind me. I feel like I have been given such a gift and I have Dr. Oliva to thank.

I had excellent care throughout the pre-surgery, surgery, and post-op appointments. Dr. Oliva was very kind to my entire family, which I really appreciate. I am very satisfied with my breast reconstruction. I have always struggled with a "poochy" belly --- having the tummy tuck at the time of the reconstruction had made me feel better about myself overall. I can wear clothes now that I couldn't before.
